Hello everyone I have released yet another pixel art video on youtube. This time I am covering how to create a metallic looking platform that would work well with any sort of Technology or Factor based zone. Work continues on Sonic Time Twisted. I do not want to show off any screenshots because I want to leave the surprises in the game. In the meantime I have continued my Pixel art tutorial series on Youtube.

Recently I have decided to start doing videos on the techniques I use in Photoshop for creating pixel art and level art. The first two videos are below if you are interested in creating art for fan games or independent games I hope this video series will help you out.

I am still working very hard on this game. Currently I have completely 16 of the planned 23 levels. Hopefully the game will be ready to launch around New Years.

My good friend SonicGenesis recorded some beta footage of Tidal Tubes Future from Sonic Time Twisted. Of course everyone will be able to play this themselves at SAGExpo 2014 Act 2 starting on August 3rd 2014.

As many of you may have guessed Time Twisted’s demo was rather rushed due to me having a pretty bad week prior to SAGExpo. This put us about a week behind where we needed to be for the demo. Fortunately Joevan and I have found the time to go back and fix many of the problems with the game. The list below isn’t everything:

• Knuckle, Tails, and Sonic’s double jump actions now behave properly with the orbs.
• Knuckles glide and climb have been updated and should be a bit better.
• The layouts have been adjusted slightly with improvements. Should be slightly easier.
• Joystick control can now be disabled with F10.
• Problems with the screen width that plagued people with 4:3 displays should now be fixed.
